Make your Server Managed
We provide managed services to support your server when you order the cPanel control panel. As a cPanel partner we can offer competitive licence pricing, and our own team handles the day-to-day work, escalating to cPanel directly on your behalf when a problem turns out to be theirs.
cPanel needs a minimum of 2GB RAM and 20GB of disk, and recommends 4GB RAM and 40GB. Busier sites and heavier software will want more than that. We recommend AlmaLinux 9 or 10, which cPanel fully supports.
Virtual machine features
Every plan runs on KVM virtualisation, with our own control panel on top for the day-to-day jobs like reinstalls, reboots and statistics.
DDoS Protection Included
All our services are protected by Corero DDoS filtering and scrubbing devices with up to 200Gb/s of DDoS protection and includes Layer 7 protection.
Low Latency Network
Our UK data centre partner runs its own network across multiple UK sites, built with redundant paths so traffic reroutes around a failure rather than waiting for one link to come back.
High Performance
Sized for build agents, test suites and staging copies rather than peak production traffic, which is what keeps the price where it is.
Why these cost less
Developer nodes run dual Intel Xeon E5 v4 processors, an earlier generation than our Standard range. That is the whole reason the price is lower. For builds, test suites and staging it is plenty; for a busy production site you want the newer hardware on Standard VPS.

Pure SSD storage throughout, which matters more here than you might expect: dependency installs and test runs are disk-heavy, and spinning rust would undo the point of a fast feedback loop.

AlmaLinux OS is an open-source, community-driven Linux operating system that fills the gap left by the discontinuation of the CentOS Linux stable release.
Rocky Linux 9, 10
Rocky Linux is a community enterprise operating system designed to be 100% bug-for-bug and comes from the discontinuation of the CentOS.
Ubuntu 20.04, 22.04. 24.04
Ubuntu is known for running on local computers as well as servers. Most server side applications use Ubuntu as it is well supported and familiar with developers.
Debian 11, 12, 13
Debian comes with a great number of packages that can be installed on to the basic operating system making it feature rich and quick to get started with.
CentOS 9 Stream, 10 Stream
The long-running Red Hat compatible family, now delivered as a rolling Stream release. For cPanel we recommend AlmaLinux instead, which cPanel officially supports; CentOS Stream suits Plesk and self-managed setups.
Fedora 43
Fedora is a Linux distribution developed by the Fedora Project, a community-supported project sponsored by Red Hat.
